By automating manual, document-heavy workflows like prior authorizations, payer audits, and claims, the company aims to enhance both clinical and financial accuracy, support efficient scaling, and create a foundation for sustained innovation and digital transformation.
PromptCare leveraged UiPath Studio to build AI agents and robots to automate revenue cycle operations, such as explanation of benefits (EOB)-to-cash posting, new patient admissions, prior authorizations, ventilator approvals, and invoice processing. Robots now handle structured high-volume tasks, such as remittance reconciliation and charge validation. Agents perform adaptive and cognitive work, including detailed work order creation and margin analysis. The results: agents now compile treatment plans and process physician documentation in days—not weeks—and have cut margin analysis tasks from 20–30 minutes to under three. Automation has reduced manual work, improved billing accuracy, and accelerated issue resolution. Faster patient onboarding enables quicker revenue recognition and helps patients receive care without delay. All deployments adhere to strict governance and HIPAA rules, with security models, encryption, and board-level oversight safeguarding data integrity and minimizing risk.
