Now, the company leverages UiPath IXP to automate complex contract and compliance processes in its contract management. Agents developed with Agent Builder in UiPath Studio analyze clauses, validate legal compliance, and flag risks with confidence scores. Flagged sections are routed to the legal team’s Benner Juridico system, where lawyers review and finalize decisions. With this integration, contracts move seamlessly between agents and people.

Initial hesitation from the legal team around the use of AI was addressed through early stakeholder engagement, use-case demonstrations, and clear communication, fostering adoption.

With UiPath support, Lightera has achieved rapid results—building its first agentic workflow in just two days. Today, first-pass reviews take only 1–2 minutes, significantly reducing risk exposure while enabling faster, more assertive legal responses and embedding compliance into every step. The framework empowers employees to focus on higher-value legal work while accuracy and governance remain robust.

With the UiPath agentic capabilities, a contract that once took two to three hours for a lawyer to analyze now gets a first review in one to two minutes.
