Manually analyzing these documents was time-consuming, labor-intensive, and led to inconsistent data. Deluxe needed a solution that could effectively and efficiently analyze these documents to provide the necessary insights while saving time and improving data consistency.

Deluxe is seeing major gains from AI and automation with UiPath Automation Cloud™. UiPath Action Center simplifies complex document processing tasks like contract pricing extraction and invoice processing. UiPath AI Center trains specialized machine learning models for text classification and named entity recognition. Generative AI (GenAI) tools extract data from unstructured contracts and agreements, then post-extraction analysis is run using Amazon Bedrock connectors.
With support and solutions from UiPath partner qBotica, impacts have been felt across the business. A previously manual pricing use case took teams away from normal activities for two weeks. With UiPath Document Understanding™, the task of analyzing over 900 contracts for pricing changes can now be completed within just two hours—saving over 800 hours. In order management, UiPath Communications Mining™ analyzed around 11,000 emails in just days—predicting and categorizing messages with attachments and providing a dashboard of mailbox analytics, including order trends and sender/recipient segmentation.
I anticipate our imminent exploration of agentic automation, a sophisticated tool embodying human-like decision making. Crucially, it can streamline complex business and customer related decisions, suggesting promising solutions to current problems. The future seems bright with the introduction of agentic automation with human-in-the-loop capabilities.
