Scaling trusted agentic automation across the enterprise

To validate projected pricing outcomes against real invoice data at scale—and uncover gaps traditional reviews could miss—Deluxe built an agentic automation approach using the UiPath Platform™.

The solution analyzes financial data across systems, flags discrepancies, explains why they happened, and suggests actions. In one early discovery, the agent identified ERP invoice codes that had been excluded from pricing adjustments or audit review. Some were outdated. Others represented potential revenue leakage.

A key differentiator was usability. Deluxe could build, test, and refine automations on their own using tools such as UiPath Document Understanding™ and Agent Builder in UiPath Studio. Being able to validate outputs firsthand helped her build trust in the results and iterate quickly.

That trust became central to scaling the initiative. Deluxe focused on transparency from the start—involving audit teams, documenting governance, hosting internal education sessions, and emphasizing human-in-the-loop oversight.

This approach ensured employees understood the goal was not to replace people, but to augment their work with more accurate insights and better decision support.
