Managing more than 2.5 million shipment-related documents annually, CCI’s finance teams spend over 12,000 hours manually reconciling waybills, goods receipt notes (GRN), invoices, and delivery notes. The process was error-prone, slowed invoice generation, strained cash flow, and created compliance risks—particularly during peak seasons when overtime was unavoidable.
CCI transformed finance operations by using UiPath Document Understanding™ to automatically extract and validate data from shipment documents. Robots cross-checked this information against SAP records, reconciling discrepancies in real time. Tasks that used to take hours to do are now automated. This lets teams focus on important decisions, which reduces errors and speeds up invoice processing.
To eliminate inefficiencies from physical archives, UiPath Robots now digitize, index, and store shipment documents in SharePoint, linking them directly to SAP records. Orchestrated workflows ensure that every document is processed reliably, fully auditable, and instantly retrievable. This paperless approach improves transparency, enhances compliance, and frees thousands of hours previously spent on manual searches.
CCI is piloting an agentic layer powered by UiPath Autopilot™, providing conversational, intelligent support for logistics workflows. Employees can query shipment statuses instantly, while the system automatically flags issues and routes tasks to the right team members. Robots continue processing data in the background, while the agentic layer dynamically prioritizes work. This integration allows teams to focus on high-value tasks, accelerates decision making, and establishes a scalable foundation for intelligent automation across multi-country operations.
