TAIWAN, [Month and date], 2025 – UiPath (NYSE: PATH), a leading enterprise automation and AI software company, today announced a new partnership with President Information Corporation (PIC), a subsidiary of President Chain Store Corporation (PCSC), to empower enterprises with agentic testing. In addition, PIC is also accelerating application testing and transforming operations with the UiPath Test Cloud, which is instrumental to the company’s cloud migration strategy and long-term growth across Taiwan and Asia.

The partnership with PIC will primarily be focused on the UiPath Test Cloud offering, a revolutionary new approach to software testing that uses advanced AI to amplify tester productivity across the entire testing lifecycle for exceptional efficiency and cost savings. By augmenting testers with AI agents, businesses can enable faster time to market, improve production stability, and deliver higher-quality software to customers. Targeting cross-industry application, the collaboration aims to extend its reach to a broader customer base, helping to accelerate AI transformation in Taiwan.

As Taiwan’s largest retailer, PIC supports the IT operations of convenience store chains, including the 7-Eleven Group. The company plans to leverage cloud migration as a key component of its strategic growth by enhancing operational efficiency and improving scalability to drive long-term success across Taiwan and Asia. As part of its phased migration plan, PIC will be migrating essential systems for 7-Eleven convenience stores and will soon begin full-scale cloud migration for all of PCSC’s business units.

The migration of its 180 applications to the cloud by 2026 presents significant testing challenges. These include manual testing processes, which can be both time-consuming and resource-intensive, as well as a lack of comprehensive regression coverage, which results in costly production defects. Additionally, the testing processes would involve numerous business and technical users, increasing the complexity of the testing cycle and delaying time to market.

UiPath Test Cloud allows PIC to fully automate its application testing, cutting down on test case design, development, test data preparation, and execution time. This will result in testing being completed twice as fast, with cost savings of U.S. $550,000 quarterly, and a net present value of U.S. $2.6 million. Moreover, PIC now has the capability to conduct continuous health checks on critical services, even in production environments. This enables non-technical users to participate more easily in testing, freeing up programmers to focus on delivering innovations.
