It’s time to recognize the innovators, the rule breakers, the creative minds who see opportunities where others see only obstacles. At the UiPath Automation Awards 2021 – CEE & Turkey Edition, we’re honoring two up-and-coming companies who are blazing new trails in automation software in the region—and giving them a chance to get their ideas off the ground. Are you one of them?
€50,000 Cash
The winner in the Start-up category will receive €50,000 to help fuel their growth and take their ideas from the drawing board to reality.
Global Exposure
The two winners will get some well-deserved time in the UiPath spotlight to help them raise their market profile and connect with prospects.
Introductions
The Scale-up category winner will have the opportunity to present their solution to four UiPath customers, and their technology will be featured in the UiPath Immersion Labs.
Mentorship
UiPath executives, marketers, and technologists will offer their expertise to help the winners build on their early successes, refine their value proposition, and ensure that their solutions are market-ready for international business growth.

The most promising entries will pitch their ideas live on October 20, 2021, with the chance to win one of the two grand-prize packages. That’s one small entry to submit, and one giant leap into greatness!
How it works
UiPath began in 2005 as a small Start-up in Bucharest. Since then, we’ve grown to be the global leader in Robotic Process Automation. It’s an amazing success story—and as a way of honoring our roots, we want to encourage innovation in the region where that story started. That’s the idea behind this awards program.
Any Start-up or early-stage automation company in the CEE region (Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, the Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Ukraine and Turkey) is eligible.
There are two categories: Start-up and Scale-up. Our panel of judges will choose one grand prize winner in each category.
You must apply by September 3, 2021. The judges will select the semi-finalists in mid-September and announce the finalists in the week commencing October 4. The finalists will be invited to present during the Wolves Summit on October 20, 2021 online and in Wroclaw, Poland. Grand prize winners will be announced at the summit during the 2021 UiPath Automation Awards ceremony.

Why is UiPath organizing an automation awards competition?
A few years ago, UiPath was a Start-up. So, we get you! We encountered many of the struggles and the perks that come along with the entrepreneurial journey. The fast pace in technology and the potential of automation makes us contribute more in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Through the UiPath Automation Awards we want to support the development of innovative business ideas and to foster the capacity to scale of brilliant teams and entrepreneurs.
How do I know if I can apply?
You can apply if your entity is based in one of the countries eligible for this competition (see complete list below) and if your technology contributes to automating non-manufacturing processes. List of eligible countries: Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, the Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Ukraine and Turkey. If your Start-up is based in one of the countries mentioned, you can apply in one of the two categories of the competition: Start-up Award and Scale-up Award. For the Start-up Award, the criteria considered to register: You have a technical Minimum Viable Product that is focused on B2B non-manufacturing software automation; You have a dedicated team; Your Start-up is up to seed financing; If you already got financed, the total amount that you received is a maximum of 1 million EUR. For the Scale-up Award, the criteria considered to register: You have a functioning technology that is focused on B2B non-manufacturing software automation; You already signed with a minimum of 3 paying customers; You have a dedicated team; If you already got financed, the total amount that you received is a maximum of 3 million EUR.
